Our design for MAC Panama positions the museum as an open civic platform that integrates the architecture, city, landscape, and public life.

A clear vertical sequence organizes the project:
city → plaza → galleries → roof
A continuous experience linking public life and art.

The ground level is permeable and green, extending the urban fabric and maximizing access, interaction, and visibility. The museum begins as a public space.

Above, flexible gallery plates enable curatorial freedom within controlled environmental conditions.

A modular envelope system allows multiple configurations—clear glazing for daylighted galleries, translucent panels for diffused light, or opaque stone for fully controlled conditions—supporting a range from immersive media to sensitive artworks.

The project culminates in a rooftop event plaza with panoramic views, reinforcing the museum as a civic landmark.
