Artist Fabian Marcaccio sought SAS to develop the armature for the installation of a commissioned outdoor artwork exhibited at the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA). Our responsibilities included the detailing and construction supervision for achieving the artist’s desired installation of his work. The piece was partly created in New York and then shipped to Buenos Aires where Fabian continued to install in-situ. The piece called Ezeiza commemorated a massacre that occurred in Argentina in 1973 at the arrival of Juan Domingo Peron. The exhibition had outdoor and indoor site-specific installations. It took place in 2006 and was on view for six months.
