SAS was commissioned to convert the cellar level of the famed Park Bernet Galleries into a fine dining restaurant on the Upper East Side, the result of a partnership between Chef Masa Takayama and Larry Gagosian. Entering through the Gagosian Shop on Madison Avenue, customers
descend down a limestone and amber glass staircase into the restaurant, which is fitted throughout in teak and Japanese Oya stone, and features a gleaming stainless steel open kitchen visible from every seat.
