SAS converted this 1,500 square foot ground floor space into a showroom for the artist/jewelry designer Lillian Ball.
Following the concept of the artist’s jewelry design, SAS transformed ordinary industrial elements like laboratory flasks into objects of delicate beauty. The project was completed with a limited construction budget by using inexpensive materials in an unconventional fashion. Enhancing its delicate and understated character, the floor was coated with a glossy linoleum sheet. To furnish the space, Galia Solomonoff collaborated with the client to create custom “gel” stools, faux fur rugs, acrylic display cases and a “light box” reception desk.
